Good morning Simsbury. Today is Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013. Here are a few things to know today.
1. If you're lucky enough to purchase one of the few remaining tickets, A Taste in Simsbury promises to be a lot of fun. As of noon, just a few tickets remained at Simsbury Bank. If any remain they will be sold at the door.
2. It's day 2 of school. It's old hat now. Those kids will be rarin' to go. Hey a guy can dream!
3. "Capturing the Wild and Scenic" at Roaring Brook Nature Center in Canton features the work of photographer Tom Cameron. Join the Farmington River Watershed Association and others in the first in a series on the Farmington River.
4. Scattered showers with a chance of Thunderstorms again.
