Simsbury Bank is proud to announce that it has made a donation to the Farmington Valley Visiting Nurse Association’s “Keep Us At Home” Capital Campaign. The capital campaign is for the purchase of and improvements to the building at 248 Salmon Brook Street in Granby that currently houses the Farmington Valley VNA’s Community Programs Department which provides over 17,000 Farmington Valley residents with illness prevention, wellness and educational services. In addition, the Granby building is also home to the Granby Food Bank and Granby School Nursing Program. With Simsbury Bank’s donation, among other donations, the $350,000 goal has been achieved.

The work that this organization does is so important to those who rely on their professional visits so that the elderly and disabled can remain safely in their homes as long as possible.”
