Boy Scout Troop 76 Invitation: Canoe Campout

All boys 5th grade and older should join Simsbury Boy Scout Troop 76 for its annual fall recruiting campout this weekend, September 21-22.  A parent must also attend.  This trip is one of the town's and troop's annual favorites, and features canoeing the Farmington River from Unionville to downtown Simsbury, with an overnight campout along the way.  Boys interested in finding our more about Boy Scouting join the troop will participate in troop activities like catapults, tomahawk throwing, cooking geocaching, Capture the Flag, and one of the biggest and best campfires around.  Parents can talk with troop adults and leaders about what Boy Scouting and the Troop have to offer.  For more information, contact Recruiting Coordinator John Mundt at (860) 658-0865or Scoutmaster Dan Carr at (860) 670-6742.
