Intergenerational Luncheon

The Simsbury Aging and Disability Commission held its Souper Tuesday Luncheon recently. There were 67 seniors and 43 sixth grade students from Tariffville School who enjoyed the luncheon, according to Grace Comeau, Chairperson.

The luncheon discussions were lively between the seniors and students. Many of the seniors brought in school pictures of themselves to show and talked about what subjects they had with the students. This was agreat opportunity for the students and seniors to learn about each other in the community where they live A special thank you to the Simsbury Junior Woman’s Club for providing their homemade Easter cupcakes and the Simsbury Lions Club who served at the luncheon.
