The “2014 Annual Membership Dinner” of the Simsbury Land Trust will be held this Thursday, April 10 at 6 p.m. at Hop Meadow Country Club. The evening will include a cocktail reception and cash bar, including hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert and coffee.
In addition to a review of 2013 and a look ahead to the coming year, the event will feature a presentation by Tom Tyler of the CT DEEP, who will talk about the 100th Anniversary of the Connecticut State Parks. Also featured will be an exhibit of historical photographs of some of the state parks.
The cost is $35 for Simsbury Land Trust members and $40 for non-members. Reservations must be made by contacting the Simsbury Land Trust at (860) 651-8773.
