The Wild and Scenic Farmington River...20 Years later

The Upper Farmington River (Canton to Colebrook) was designated as a Wild and Scenic River in 1994 as a partnership between local and Federal governments. 
It has been almost twenty years.
Join us at the Roaring Brook Nature Center on Thursday, October 3rd from 7:30 to 8:30 for a discussion of the successes and issues.

This may be of particular interest because the Lower Farming is seeking the same designation.

This is the thid of five "River Talks" honoring the 6oth anniversary of the Farmington River Watershed Association.
 
In the event of a continuing government shutdown" , David Sinish and Eileen Fielding of the FRWA will present.
