No BYOB or coolers allowed at Harry Connick, Jr., concert; food and drink must be purchased on-site

"Plenty of tickets" still available

If you are planning to enjoy Saturday evening at the Simsbury Performing Arts Center, listening to the smooth voice of Harry Connick, Jr., please note that no food or drink items will be allowed into the venue.

An assortment of concessions ranging from $2-$8 will be sold on the grounds, including: water, soda, wine, beer, hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled salads, veggie/chicken/ham wraps, pulled pork, pizza, ice cream, TCBY yogurt, popcorn, peanuts and Edible Arrangement fruit.

On-site vendor sales were part of the agreement to “get the caliber of talent that we wanted to come to Simsbury,” according to Tom Vincent, Manager of the Performing Arts Center.

“We’ll have security checks at the gate similar to Comcast in Hartford, the Oakdale Theater or Mohegan Sun,” he said.

There also will be “No BYOB” signs posted in parking lots for the concert and along Iron Horse Blvd.
