Shreya Rekha Dixit, of Eden Prairie, MN, who spent time in Simsbury, was fatally injured in a car accident several years ago. The crash was caused by a distracted driver, authorities say.

On this day, walkers remember the hundreds of lives lost in moments of distraction on the road.
