The Simsbury Farmers Market takes place every Thursday at Simsmore Square.
The event is held from 3 to 6 pm each week through Oct. 3. The market features 11 full-time and other more occasional vendors, all of which sell products made or grown in the state.
Live music is also featured.
"It's a great community thing," said market master Anne-Marie Regish. "A lot of people are coming back to the concept of knowing where your food comes from."
