Need a break from the first tropical weather of the summer and its oppresive heat and humidity?

The Town of Simsbury has opened cooling centers for anyone in need of relief.

Simsbury Public Library

  • Monday – Thursday: 9:30 AM – 8:30 PM
  • Friday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Eno Memorial Hall

(Senior Center)


  • Monday: 8:00 AM –7:00 PM
  • Tuesday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM   

The Social Services Department is reminding residents to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged sun exposure, check on elderly family members and neighbors, and never leave children or pets in an unattended vehicle.
