Holiday Continues in Tariffville, Despite Parade Cancellation
The Memorial Day parade was cancelled in Tariffville, but residents gathered at Trinity Episcopal Church.
Although the rain cancelled the Tariffville Memorial Day parade, village residents braved the weather and made their way to where they enjoyed "breakfast dogs."
A carnival had been planned for the community residents after the parade ended, complete with clowns, hot dogs, a bouncy house and balloons, but was cancelled due to the weather.
But, many residents gathered at the church and were still able to enjoy a breakfast of hot dogs and the company of others from town.

The more than 100 hot dogs that would have been given out to the community purchased for the town-wide event will now be donated to the Springfield Rescue Mission.
