Nov. 30 is nearly here! From music, dancing, visits with Santa, Gingerbread Houses, trampoline shows, interactive sports games, decorated fire truck parade and a spectacular fireworks display, the Simsbury Celebrates Planning Committee has put together another fun filled evening for all.

Simsbury Celebrates is the annual town wide FREE event held each year the Saturday after Thanksgiving. On Saturday, Nov. 30 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Hopmeadow Street from Plank Hill Road to Drake Hill Road, in down town Simsbury, will once again become a pedestrian thoroughfare filled with indoor and outdoor live entertainment, activities and food for all ages.

This year the planning committee has added many new performers and activities, called back some past favorites, and kept many of our attendee’s annual choices. Making Simsbury Celebrates a true welcoming in the holiday celebration for all ages and a true "celebration of community".

Due to the committee’s on going efforts to add new events, and insure that we have a variety of performances and activities for all ages, we have had to implement several venue changes. The committee encourages all our attendees to schedule their evening activities before they arrive.
