Orange Tiger Cat Found in Simsbury

Are you missing an orange tiger cat? A Simsbury resident took one in just before Hurricane Sandy hit.

A Simsbury resident is caring for a feline friend found in the Barndoor Hills/Firetown Road area and hopes to find his family.

The cat is described as a large male, neutered cat that is orange in color with tiger markings.

A Simsbury resident had seen the cat roaming the tobacco fields in the area of Barndoor Hills and Firetown roads for the past three weeks. The cat was located the morning of Oct. 27, the day before Hurricane Sandy hit the region.
