Simsbury Plans Town-wide Halloween Celebration on October 30

The Town of Simsbury will host a free town-wide Halloween celebration on Wednesday, October 30 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Simsbury Public Library, located at 725 Hopmeadow Street.  Free admission includes a magic display, storytelling, trick-or-treating and more!

Celebrate Halloween early by coming dressed in your favorite costume!  In addition to a costume parade, guests of all ages will be entertained by Magic of Christopher, hear a Halloween story with one of Simsbury’s most entertaining librarians, decorate a personalized bag for trick-or treating, and then use it to collect goodies in the library.

“For the last two years, Halloween has been interrupted by late October storms,” says First Selectman Mary Glassman.  “We wanted to offer families a safe option for Halloween, where we can all join together and have fun.”
