Volunteers Needed for 2013 Annual Trails Clean-up
Volunteers cleared 12 cubic yards of trash from the trails in 2012.
The Farmington Valley Trails Council is seeking volunteers to help with the annual clean-up effort on the Farmington Valley Greenway next month.
The 2013 Annual Trails Clean-up will be held on Sunday April 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a 'Thank You' barbecue following the event at Flamig Farm from noon to 3 p.m.
Volunteers will cover a 1-mile stretch of the trails from one of the following four staging areas:
