Jeff Pevar and Danny Kortchmar @ Infinity Music Hall & Bistro

Guitarists to the stars, Danny Kortchmar and Jeff Pevar have recently teamed up as a duo for select performances, to offer an intimate and unique musical experience, blending their original compositions and other selections that reflect the many years of their playing and performing music with some of the best in the business.

Danny Kortchmar is a world reknown guitarist, sought after session musician and acclaimed songwriter who's resume is mind boggling. His guitar work is heard everyday all over the world on mega-hits by folks like Carol King, James Taylor, Jackson Browne and Don Henley, who Kortchmar also wrote songs for.
("Machine Gun Kelly" for JT, "All She Wants To Do Is Dance" and "Dirty Laundry" for Henley, "Shakey Town" For Jackson and the list goes on…) His roots are from the Greenwich Village NYC scene in the 60's playing with groups like the Fugs, the Kingbees and The Flying Machine (which featured the young and yet to be discovered, James Taylor). Danny's talents brought him to playing in the famous studio/touring band called "The Section" who was the band called to record many sucessful records for Carol King, James Taylor, Jackson Browne and many others.
Kootch, a nickname given to him in his teens, is also credited with co-producing award winning records for Don Henley, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel and many others. More info is on www.dannykortchmar.com


Jeff Pevar is a guitarist, composer, producer, performer and multi-instrumentalist who has brought his unique style on stage and/or in the studio to such world renowned artists as Crosby, Stills & Nash, Ray Charles, James Taylor, Jimmy Webb, Carly Simon, Kenny Loggins, Joe Cocker, Jefferson Starship, Phil Lesh and Friends, Marc Cohn, Jennifer Warnes, Laura Nyro, David Foster, Rickie Lee Jones, Jazz Is Dead, and as a partner in the band CPR along with David Crosby and David's son James Raymond. CPR released 4 albums that Jeff co-wrote material for. Jeff is a sought after session musician who is currently mixing a debut record recorded in Oregon Caves called "From The Core" and recently completed his first independant movie score and soundtrack, called Walk-In.
