New England’s Rising Stars featuring Adam Ezra Group, The Alternate Routes, Jason Spooner at Infinity Music Hall & Bistro

Infinity Hall picked these three groups to be featured as our own New England's Rising stars! Each are destined for success in their own right. We are bringing them all to one stage for one night only! Hailing from Massachusetts, Maine and Connecticut, we are delighted to showcase the incredible talent New England has to offer!

Each band will play a 60 minute set and then they’ll all perform a classic tune together!   A coin toss determines the order.

"Ragtop Angel" is the Adam Ezra Group's debut recording on Royal Avenue Records and was produced by multiplatinum producer Aaron Johnson, best known for his work with The Fray. Aaron helped hone Adam’s ramblings into finely tuned pop songs that still retain the power and conviction developed from Ezra’s years of “do it yourself,” grassroots work ethic. Upon it's release, "Ragtop Angel" shot to the top of the Amazon charts (peaking at #4 behind John Mayer and Sarah Bareilles) and was featured on iTunes "New and Noteworthy Rock Albums" in December of 2011. Soon after, Ragtop Angel won "Album of the Year" and "Takin' Off" won "Song of the Year" at the New England Music Awards.

The Alternate Routes

These guys are no strangers to the Infinity Stage. Receiving a standing ovation and encore (as an special guest  for our Kevin Costner show on 4/27/2012 ) should say it all. These talented musicians have received national radio play over the past two years and have toured all over. The Alternate Routes’ name suits them well. They’re a band that‘s never really fit in — in a good way. Without a definitive genre to reference or an established scene to rally behind them, they’ve been something of a rogue wave in an ocean of bands. They built a fan base the old fashioned way, by driving around the country in a big, white Ford Econoline van, winning crowds over one-person-at-a-time with solid, catchy songs and an explosive live show. Since their genesis in 2004, co-founders Tim Warren (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Eric Donnelly (lead guitar) have taken their group through the dizzying heights and frustrating lows of the modern music industry, and have learned some valuable lessons along the way.

This multi-award winning New England-based songwriter discovered his father's collection of eight-track tapes as a child and never looked back. After early exposure to songwriter legends like Neil Young, Paul Simon, Jim Croce and Van Morrison along with Motown heavies like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Gladys Knight, Jason was inspired to start making the rounds on coffee house stages in his teens. Shortly thereafter, he spent time in Europe performing in folk & blues clubs and on the streets of London and around Spain. Once back in the states, he landed a job at a roots & blues record label where he witnessed numerous Blues legends (including members of the original Muddy Waters band ) making magic in recording sessions. Before long, Jason jumped head-first into the Northeast's burgeoning songwriter scene.

The maturity and strength of his impressive debut album "Lost Houses" released in 2003, quickly began to turn the heads of fans and critics alike. Within a few months of the release, he added a blistering rhythm section (Adam Frederick and Reed Chambers) to the supporting cast, establishing The Jason Spooner Trio as one of the most interesting and noteworthy up-and-coming acts since Kathleen Edwards or Martin Sexton.
