'Pawn' Movie Trailer Features Local Scenes
Movie was filmed, in part, in the former Friendly's on South Main St. in West Hartford.
West Hartford went through a Hollywood-like temporary transformation in December when a portion of West Hartford Center became the set for filming the movie "Pawn."
Many scenes from the movie, which stars Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta, Michael Chiklis, and Nikki Reed, were shot at the on South Main Street, which was transformed into the "Be Brite Diner."
West Hartford is prominently featured in the trailer, which also includes cameo appearances by West Hartford Police's SWAT team who were volunteer extras in the film.
