Simsbury High School senior Eduardo Rosadio has organized a charity tennis tournament to benefit Care Center For Cancer And Blood Disorders At Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Hartford.
The event is to "give a helping hand to our children sick with cancer, to their families, to play the sport we love and to make a dent" in a problem, Rosadio said.
The event, set for Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 1 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., is open to everyone.
It is set to take place at the tennis courts at Simsbury Farms golf Course: 100 Old farms Road (Rain location is Simsmore Tennis Club in Simsbury).
The event is open to the public; everyone can play!
