COPY CATS?! Of course we are!  Why not steal from the best!  That's what we did when Blue Plate Radio created the Jazz 'N' Blue Festival Benefiting Autism Speaks featuring Down to the Bone at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center on August 16!  The venerable Hartford Jazz Festival is a shining example of a jazz festival done right!  It's a family event from start to finish - from the Bushnell Park lawn to the backstage area.  It's a welcoming feeling that you simply can't forget and that is exactly what the Jazz 'N' Blue Festival Benefiting Autism Speaks featuring Down to the Bone at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center on August 16 will be!

Now this is not the first time that we've stolen an idea from the Hartford Jazz folks.  Uh-uh.  Remember the Friends of the Festival Stage?  We certainly do and the idea and the spirit of the stage lives on at the Branford Jazz on the Green Series - a series created by Blue Plate Radio in 2009 that continues to be a huge success and a huge economic draw for the town of Branford each and every summer!   Two of the bands that appeared at the Branford Jazz on the Green Series and drew tremendous crowds - Airborne and the Doug Jones Group - join the featured act, Down to the Bone at the Jazz 'N' Blue Festival Benefiting Autism Speaks featuring Down to the Bone at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center on August 16!
