Diana Ross Reaches out to students!

Diana Ross offers $25 Student Rush seats to area college students for her one night only concert at the Bushnell Center for Performing Arts. 

The Legendary Diana Ross makes her Triumphant return to the The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts tonight at 8 P.M. Student Rush tickets starting at $25 were just released at 4PM today. Tickets are available at the Box Office for $25 with a valid student ID! 

Diana Ross has the ability to command a stage, fully own whatever room she plays, and hold her audience in the palm of her hand for the duration of her performance the way very few other performers are able. She possesses a magnetic energy that is regal and grand  while simultaneously grounded and vulnerable in equal measure. With a versatile talent and knack for lyric interpretation, Diana is able to take her audience on a musical journey through her long and illustrious career, moving seamlessly from the Motown  to jazz, to R and B, disco and pop in the span of just one concert. She will rise to that task on Tuesday, August 13 at 8PM when she takes the stage at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford. 

In an interview earlier this month with the San Francisco Chronicle Diana talked about her relationship with her fans, "I'm very clear - it does not matter to me if I'm in a stadium with thousands of people or in a much smaller venue. My interaction is with the audience on a one-to-one. I always try to see their faces and try to see their eyes. I perform and sing to them.

It's usually never about us and the audience. It's that harmonious vibration, good energy that flows back and forth between the audience and myself and the band and the music. It's a wonderful thing about music. Music is like love. It feels good. It's about sharing. It's very special. Music is like the heartbeat of our world."

Miss Ross had this to say in another interview about her younger fan base, "I Want to be instrumental in inspiring young people to come forward to trust themselves and to utilize their intelligence & Education to improve their lives."
