As the largest office complex in Simsbury, 200 Hopmeadow Street and The Hartford have been part of the local landscape for over 25 years, during which time The Hartford has also been the town’s largest employer. The Town of Simsbury and The Hartford have therefore developed and maintained a strong working relationship, which will continue, as they have agreed to work together on the disposition of the property. A formal, collaborative process has since been initiated to solicit community involvement in determining future uses for the property that will benefit both new ownership and the Town.
