Community Recognizes Two Successful Years for Red Stone Pub

Simsbury's Red Stone Pub recently celebrated two successful years in business and was recognized by state and local officials for its contribution to the community. The following is a release submitted by Red Stone Pub owner Marc Lubetkin:
State of Connecticut Citation State Representatives John Hampton and David Alexander along with the entire Connecticut General Assembly presented the Red Stone Pub with an Official Citation on April 20, 2013. The Red Stone Pub was recognized for “becoming a favorite Simsbury experience and enhancing Simsbury’s quality of life through this incredible beloved local pub.” Also recognized were the “first-rate beers, outstanding food including the ‘Best Roast Beef Sandwich You Will Ever Eat,’ and the exemplary service.” Lastly, our “contributions to the business community, philanthropic initiatives and historic preservation” were recognized. Town of Simsbury Proclamation The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Simsbury presented the Red Stone Pub with a Proclamation in celebration of our two years in business and our many successful initiatives and declared April 20th, 2013 ‘Red Stone Pub Day’ in the Town of Simsbury. Presentation and Celebration To mark this occasion, a celebration was held at the Red Stone Pub on Saturday afternoon, April 20th, 2013 where John Hampton, David Alexander, Mary Glassman, Lisa Heavener, and Sean Askham made the presentations to a large gathering of our partners, investors, customers, dignitaries, family, and friends. Thank you John Hampton, for leading the charge to recognize the Red Stone Pub. Thank you David Alexander, Mary Glassman, Lisa Heavener, and Sean Askham, for making this presentation to us and for your continued support. All your words of encouragement and recognition were clearly heartfelt, sincere and much appreciated.
