"Heart of the Home" Dinner to benefit Gifts of Love

The first fundraiser dinner at Chrissie D’Esopo’s home for Gifts of Love on February 11th sold out, and out of generosity, Ms. D’Esopo is offering a second dinner on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 6:00 PM.  D'Esopo, known locally for her beautiful gardens and home on West Avon Road in Avon, is also an excellent chef, as well!  She is graciously extending an invitation to a special “Heart of the Home” dinner into the first 26 people who purchase a seat.  She is generously donating all of the food, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Gifts of Love. 

The dinner also offers an opportunity to meet Gifts of Love’s Executive Director, Diana Goode, and learn about what Gifts of Love is doing to help families and individuals in need in our community.  “Last year we served over 13,000 individuals, up from over 11,000 the year prior.  The share of clients from the Farmington Valley has also grown.  These dinners are important fundraisers for us, so that we are able to keep our pantry full and continue to meet the need of struggling families in our community.  We are so grateful to Chrissie and John D’Esopo for putting on a beautiful evening and meal, and graciously opening their home to the community,” said Diana Goode, Executive Director of Gifts of Love.  “The last dinner was absolutely superb and our guests’ feedback was extremely positive.  We look forward to seeing who is coming to dinner on March 10th!”

7 kinds of Special Cookies

Wine and non-alcoholic punch
