Local Restaurants to Offer a Taste of Simsbury

Fourth annual Taste of Simsbury event will feature some of the region's best food.

Tickets are now on sale for the 4th Annual Taste of Simsbury Presented by TD Bank.  This year it falls on Thursday, August 30, with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m.  For the third year in a row, this gourmet event will be held at in the Grand Ballroom of , Simsbury’s breathtaking custom-designed banquet facility. 

Returning restaurants from Simsbury include , , , , and .  They will once again be joined by Max a Mia, Farm Restaurant, a true farm-to-table restaurant, Tapas, The Elephant Trail, Apricots Restaurant & Pub, Max Downtown and Matthew’s Restaurant.  We also welcome newcomers Millwright’s Restaurant and Tavern, Trattoria Il Trullo and A Little Something Bakery for desserts.  Hand-made ice cream and gelato will again be provided by ; spirits will be provided by , Thomas Hooker Brewery, and Super Cellar.  will be providing gourmet coffee, both iced and hot.

Tickets are the same price as last year, $40 each, and include gourmet samples from each participating restaurant, beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and dessert.  Tickets are on sale right now, and can be purchased this year at TD Bank branches in Simsbury and Avon.  They will also be available for sale on www.ShopSimsbury.comGet your tickets quickly, as they are limited and have sold out every year before the doors have opened!
