Tell us what you think.

With the Andy's Market space opening up for new business in Simsbury, what sort of retail establishment do you feel would service Simsbury residents best?

I would love to see a co-op grocery store. Something like the Brattleboro, VT Co-op or the wildly successful City Market co-op in Burlington, VT. There is clearly a demand for organic, locally sourced product in the Farmington Valley and there is room for alternatives to Whole Foods, Fresh, etc. I think it would be a great draw for Simsbury.

The TDPRI retail store.

TOTALLY agree with Dennis Desrochers! If not something like the Brattleboro Food Co-op, a Trader Joe's would be nice!

Moe's Southwest Grill

TRADER JOES!!!!!!!!!!!! can someone pleeez make it happen! what a great draw for the valley, Granby and beyond. (or a co op) A co operative store front takes a lot of work, workers and members buy "equity shares" as a start up investment...........

A small movie house with couches, serving drinks and light food. Maybe combined with an "arcade" area for DDR, Wii, and other teen activities.

Love all the comments about Trader Joe's. That is exactly what a good co-op would bring to Simsbury and more! Think Traders Joe's prices, with Whole Foods prepared foods as a community based non-profit. I think the parking lot would be too small to interest a Trader Joe's. Agree, it would take some work, but lot's of good business minds in the Farmington Valley could make this work and it would be a great draw for downtown Simsbury. I think we should talk to Mary about this!

A smaller version of a Dave and Busters would be fantastic.

co-op grocery store similar to the one in Hanover, NH area, or Whole Foods.

The last thing we need in town is another grocery store, pharmacy or liquor store!

Trader Joe's would be great, but I think it would be better suited for the old TJ Maxx space. Co-op, perfect!

Hobby Lobby, Christmas Tree Shop, Williams Sonoma, Taylor Rental, there isn't one decent clothing store in town, movie theatre similar to the Gilson in Winsted, Crate & Barrell, LL Bean would be great,

The last thing we need is another pharmacy!
