By now you've probably heard that the Town of Simsbury is seeking a new tenant for the former Attilio's Restaurant space at Simsbury Farms.

When Simsbury Patch published an article about the town's search on Thursday, we got some great responses about Attilio's Restaurant and the type of business that the town needs in that space:

"The town should be open to a clean family friendly restaurant with hours past golf hours. This is such a shame. There is nothing for food in this area !!!" — Mark

"How many kids at the pool want fettuccine Alfredo? If it's at all for the kids, a hot dog and a Slurpee is what they really want." —Peter

"I'm not sure I would have described Attilio's as popular. I never saw any advertisting for the restaurant while they were in business, and it wasn't on the list of places to go for anyone I know. Whoever lands there needs a marketing plan, consistent hours, and a product that works for local families." —Karen

"This is a unique, very attractive space. Can a continued range of dining options work here?" —Becky

"I like the casual idea, servicing families in a snack bar/bistro style, using local contributors: ice cream and dairy, dogs/meats, produce, baked goods..." —Mushroom
