Introducing Pedergy: A new form of "Heel"ing

It is no secret that stress levels are continuing to rise in our lives creating a stress and anxiety epidemic. People all around are looking for ways to de-stress and gain peace of mind. From long nature hikes to massages, there are many holistic and alternative methods of stress relief that those in the community are seeking out. Amongst the newest alternative approaches to seek tranquility is Pedergy, now offered at New Creations in East Granby.

Patent pending and Trademarked in October 2013, Pedergy was created by Brittany Quagan of Breviva. As a Reiki healer, Brittany combined a spa pedicure with the effects of Reiki energy healing.

“We carry a lot of stress in our shoulders, yes. But many of us forget about our feet. Our feet literally carry our burdens,” states Brittany. “Reiki concentrates on bringing our energy back to its natural flow through our energy points (chakras). The feet hold all of these energy points, as well. Pedergy helps to release that stuck energy through our body, while giving you a spa pedicure.”

During a Pedergy session, Brittany pulls stuck energy from the head to the feet. Throughout the session, she works to pull that energy through the feet and out of the body, leaving the client feeling grounded and lighter. Brittany also uses her own, homemade, natural products throughout the Pedergy sessions; all of which are charged with healing energy.

“Between the actual session and the products, the healing energy literally swarms the body. It really is amazing.”

Sessions are being offered beginning November 1st at New Creations Salon in East Granby (on Rt. 20 in the Gio's plaza). This is the only location to offer Pedergy.
