Independence    in·de·pend·ence

- Not influenced or controlled by others in matters of opinion, conduct

- Not dependent; not depending or contingent upon something else 

        for existence 

- Not relying on another or others for aid or support.

As we celebrate July 4th, Independence Day, let’s take time to reflect on why our forefathers named the document the Declaration of Independence.
