Is Connecticut Open for Business?

This is not good news

According to a recent study at CNBC, Connecticut is ranked 44th for overall best States for business.  What's worse is we were 39th in 2011.
http://www.cnbc.com/id/46413845

We rank:

46 -  Cost of doing business
40 - Workforce
40 - Economic Health and Growth

43 - Infrstructure and Transportation
33 - Business Friendliness
48 - Cost of Living

It's time we got serious about lowering the cost of doing business by removing burdensome regulations and mandates, elminating the business entity tax, increasing State efficiencies and making small business our number one priority.  Remember, it's business that creates jobs.

The article says it provides information about "various ways" the community can helpRead More teachers. However, it provides information only about the Staples discount program. The link takes you to a Staples website, not to a list of ways communities are helping. In addition, statistics given are national, not relating to Simsbury, or even Connecticut. This seems like a canned article designed to promote Staples. Was it written and submitted by that retailer?
