For all of us who go to our respective places of business each day there are certain days that are rather routine and other days that remind you of why you enjoy what you do. Today was one of them for me.
I started my day at Henry James Memorial School as one of two Guinness Book of World Records "witnesses" to help them secure a world record for the most "multiples" in one school. Henry James has a total of 27 sets of twins or triplets!
Lieutenant Fred Sifo of the Simsbury Police Department and I attested to their birth certificates and photo ids. Fun time for all the kids, school staff, parents and me!

I ended my day a short time ago presenting the Simsbury Chamber School to Career Certificates of Achievements to two young ladies who worked part-time jobs while attending SHS. If you've every been to SHS Awards Night you know that there are many, many talented students who are recognized for their achievements.
I also attended an interesting lunch today in Hartford -"A Gathering of Women Leaders" - which will be the subject of another blog.
