Help me change the headlines

It's been a great privilege to run as the Republican candidate for State Representative in Simsbury and I thank all of you who have made this journey such a memorable one.

Let's work to change these headlines -

Current: CT is ranked 45th in economic competitiveness
Future:   CT ranked in the top 10 in economic competitiveness

Current:  The CT legislature has been voted "Least Business Friendly" in the nation
Future:  The CT Legislature ranked tops in nation as “Business Friendly”

Future:  CT receives an “A” in fiscal management

Current:  State facing $60 million state budget deficit
Future:  State budget balanced due to bi-partisan leadership, compromise and debate

Current:  Connecticut’s tax burden third highest in the country (Yankee Institute for Public Policy)
Future:  Connecticut reduces sales tax due to prudent fiscal management

Current:  Connecticut third-worst state for growth in last two decades (Yankee Institute for Public Policy)
Future:  Connecticut sees influx of business and young professionals moving to state

CT’s policies and management over the last few years have earned us these Current negative headlines.  These headlines, and others, are the reason why I decided to run for State Representative and are the reason why I want to be a part of the team that changes the headlines in the Future to ones we can all be proud of.

My message over the past year has been:

Simple Math – spend no more than you make
Balanced Legislature – fosters debate and compromise
Strong Business – generates jobs, not government

It’s been a great privilege to run as the Republican candidate for State Representative in Simsbury and I thank all of you who have made this journey such a memorable one. I now ask for your vote on November 6th so I can begin to change the headlines.

I look forward to seeing you at the polls on Tuesday.
