Tonight: Chance of showers with a possibility of thunderstorms after 2 a.m. The overnight low will be around 54 degrees.

Looking for a great rainy day activity? Stop by the for a book discussion about “The Loveliest Woman in America” by Bibi Gaston today at 1 p.m. The library holds regular discussion groups centered around great books and movies and all are welcome. Learn about bike safety tonight at 6:30 p.m. with a free Bike Walk Simsbury event sponsored by the Town of Simsbury.  Instructors from Bike Walk CT will review bicycle safety laws and "rules of the road." The first hour of the program will be held in the main meeting room at the followed by an outdoor session in the parking lot (weather permitting). Don't forget to bring your bike and a helmet.

The article says it provides information about "various ways" the community can helpRead More teachers. However, it provides information only about the Staples discount program. The link takes you to a Staples website, not to a list of ways communities are helping. In addition, statistics given are national, not relating to Simsbury, or even Connecticut. This seems like a canned article designed to promote Staples. Was it written and submitted by that retailer?
