The Simsbury Free Library, the Simsbury Historical Society and the producers of a documentary about the time Martin Luther King, Jr. spent in Simsbury, are working to raise $200,000 for a permanent memorial. For more information on the project visit the MLK in CT website.

Today will be a great day to check out the cell phone tour of downtown Simsbury. The one-hour tour is narrated by First Selectman Mary Glassman and will lead you to 11 local sites known for their architectural or historic value. To take the tour dial 860-323-9029 and start walking. The program is offered through the Simsbury Senior Center and is completely free- with the exception of your cell phone bill.
