Board Advances Selectmen, Capital Project Budgets to Public Hearing

Two public hearings will be held before Simsbury residents vote at referendum in May

The Simsbury town budget is taking shape for the 2013-14 fiscal year and residents will soon get to address budget issues at a public hearing this month.

The board of finance voted unanimously last week to pass the $18.13 million board of selectmen budget to public hearing. The board will have an opportunity following the public hearing to request revisions to individual town budgets.
