Book Club at SFL, Free Language Classes, and Business Assistance

The Simsbury Public Library is offering local entrepreneurs a chance to get something for nothing. Stop by the Free Business Assistance and Mentoring program at the library today at 10 a.m. The library offers one-hour sessions with a SCORE counselor once every month. Sessions are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Register online here or call 860-658-7663.

The Simsbury Free Library Book and Movies Series continues today with a Book Club event at 1 p.m. Today the group will discuss “A Very Private Women: The Life and Unsolved Murder of Presidential Mistress Mary Meyer” by Nina Burleigh. Programs are free to members, $5 per program for non-members.  New members are welcome any time ($20 annual fee).

There's always room for improvement, and the Simsbury Public Library English Conversation Group for adults aims to help anyone wishing to improve their spoken English. Classes will be held Tuesday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the Friends Café on the upper level of the Library.
