Attention local entrepreneurs: Every month, the Simsbury Public Library offers free, one-hour face to face appointments with a SCORE counselor from the Greater Hartford SCORE. Investigate every aspect of business planning, start-up, management and growth. One-hour appointments are scheduled between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Registration is required in advance. If you haven't taken the cell phone tour of downtown Simsbury, it might be the perfect excuse to get out today. The one-hour tour is narrated by First Selectwoman Mary A. Glassman and will lead you to 11 local sites known for their architectural or historic value. To take the tour dial 860-323-9029 and start walking. The program is offered through the Simsbury Senior Center and is completely free- with the exception of your cell phone bill.
