If you haven't taken the cell phone tour of downtown Simsbury, it might be the perfect excuse to get out in between the showers today. The one-hour tour is narrated by First Selectwoman Mary A. Glassman and will lead you to 11 local sites known for their architectural or historic value. To take the tour dial 860-323-9029 and start walking. The program is offered through the Simsbury Senior Center and is completely free- with the exception of your cell phone bill.

Local art enthusiasts should be sure to check out the Avon Arts Association Member Exhibit on display at the Avon Free Public Library. The free exhibit will be on display until the end of July.
