The Simsbury Public Library is offering local entrepreneurs a chance to get something for nothing. Stop by the Free Business Assistance and Mentoring program at the library today at 10 a.m. The library offers one-hour sessions with a SCORE counselor once every month. If you were lucky enough to meet the registration deadline, the Friends of Simsbury Public Library Author Luncheon is today at 12 p.m. at . Andre Dubus III, author of House of Sand and Fog and The Garden of Last Days will discuss his book Townie.

The Simsbury Democratic Town Committee is holding its State Representative Democratic Endorsement Caucus tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Eno Memorial Hall.
