Beat the rain and hit the golf course this morning at Tower Ridge Country Club for a special fundraiser for the Bike Walk Simsbury bicycle sculpture. The club will donate 50 percent of all greens fees today to help purchase the sculpture.

Looking for a fun activity for the kids on a gloomy day? Swing by the Simsbury Public Library for Terrific Two's storytime. The library is hosting a special storytime for two year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Read stories, sing songs, play games, and enjoy some music this morning in the Discovery Room at the library. This event is free and you can just drop-in. For more information call 658-7663.

The Avon Arts Association is hosting its Spring Members' Art Show starting today at the Simsbury Public Library. The exhibit will be on display throughout the month of May during regular library hours. On Sunday, May 6, the public is invited to attend the artist reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
