- The Simsbury Board of Education was presented with the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education Level 2 Board of Distinction Award during the annual CABE / CAPSS (Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents) Convention held at the Mystic Marriott on Friday, November 16th.
- Thirty six academically outstanding Simsbury residents earned a spot on the first-quarter honor roll at Northwest Catholic High School.
- Farmington Valley Chorale, Ellen Gilson Voth, artistic director, will present “Holiday Fanfare with Organ and Brass,” featuring Daniel Pinkham’s Christmas Cantata, on Friday, November 30 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m., at the First Church of Christ in Simsbury.
