There are many one-time residents of Simsbury who have gone on to shape many aspects of American life—including Hollywood.
Actress Sigourney Weaver may have grown up in Manhattan but she spent her teenage years on the quaint campus of the Ethel Walker School.
Weaver has enjoyed an enormously successful career that has included films like Woody Allen's Annie Hall to the 1979 blockbuster science fiction film Alien.
