The National Weather Service is tracking Hurricane Sandy as she makes her way towards the east coast. Forecasts are predicting the possibilty of a massive storm caused by two fronts combining. For earlier coverage of Sandy, click here.

Stop by the Phelps Tavern tonight and try some crafted beers from three Connecticut breweries at the Hops on Hopmeadow Beer Tasting. Beer from Back East Brewery and Hooker Brewery, both located in Bloomfield, and Olde Burnside Brewery of East Hartford will be on tap. The cost is $20 for Simsbury Historical Society members and $25 for non-members.
