Join the Simsbury Celebrates planning committee on the pool deck at Simsbury Farms today from 1-4pm. There will be information available about this year's Simsbury Celebrates and you can pick up a SIMS bumper Sticker for $4 or an insulated, BPA-free SIMS cup for $8. The funds raised from the event will help with the cost of the event.

The Simsbury Recreation Department is hosting a Self Defense Clinic for Women tonight at Eno Memorial Hall at 6 p.m. Black Belt Jukido instructors Mark and Michael Goldfarb from the Simsbury Jukido Jujitsu Dojo will teach and demonstrate basic self-defense techniques that can be used for protection. The clinic costs $10.
