The is hosting a special fundraising event tonight to raise money for the Fisher House. The pub will donate $1 for every drink sold tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Simsbury Community Band will Celebrate America tonight at Simsbury Farms starting at 7 p.m. Come early for the town's annual ice cream social starting at 6 p.m. The band will help celebrate the Fourth of July with pop, classical and show tunes. Don't forget to bring a chair!

The Maple Tree Cafe is hosting its weekly Acoustic Open Mic tonight at 7:30 p.m. Get out and enjoy some local music on a rainy Wednesday night. The open mic event is free but the drinks are not.
