The Simsbury Public Library is offering local entrepreneurs a chance to get something for nothing. Stop by the Free Business Assistance and Mentoring program at the library today at 10 a.m. The library offers one-hour sessions with a SCORE counselor once every month. Worried about where your food comes from? You can find local seasonal and organic produce, eggs, dairy products, meats, roasted coffee beans, jams, flowers, baked goods and smoothes at the Simsbury Farmers Market. Stop by and support your local farms from 3-6 p.m. today.

Looking for a great way to volunteer? McLean Meals on Wheels is currently seeking volunteers to deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors. Drivers who can commit to two-hours once or twice a month for routes in Avon, Canton, Granby, and East Granby should call 860-658-3980.
