If you're looking for some guidance on how to operate that Kindle you got for your birthday, swing by the library for a class on downloading e-books to your Kindle. The Simsbury Public Library offers many free books that you can easily download and the staff is offering this free class to show you how. This class is specifically for the Amazon Kindle but the library will offer classes for other devices. Register for the class at the library or call 860-658-7663. Set your alarm clock! Simsbury's own Sara Hendershot will compete in the 2012 Summer Olympics Women's Pair Rowing Finals on Wednesday morning at 5:10 a.m. Eastern Time. Hendershot and her rowing partner, Sarah Zelenka, qualified for the final event when they finished second in their heat on Saturday.
