Simsbury School Board Appoints Assistant Principal for Squadron Line

Avon teacher will replace Scott Dunn.

Margaret Seidel has been appointed to the position of assistant principal of Squadron Line Elementary School by the Simsbury Board of Education, according to a release from the school district.

Seidel was appointed at a meeting on June 28. She will replace current assistant principal, Scott P. Dunn, who was appointed principal of Spaulding Elementary School in Suffield.

Seidel has been an elementary classroom and special education teacher for more than 13 years, most recently in Avon. During that time, Seidel has run a laboratory site for Teacher’s College, co-taught in an inclusion classroom, and has served as the Language Arts Coordinator.
