Survival Guide, Summer Camp Discounts, and Board of Selectmen

Hosting a Passover Seder? The Chai Center is hosting a Passover Seder Survival Guide program to help moms learn more about the holiday this morning at 9:15 a.m. The workshop is being led by Avon resident Laura Kinyon, LSCW.  The Seder Survival Guide is a program developed by the Jewish Outreach Institute and locally is co-sponsored by the Chai Center, The Mother’s Circle and the Mandell JCC.

It's not too late to visit the 2012 Lion's Club Peace Poster Contest exhibition at the Henry James Art Gallery. The school is displaying a selection of student Peace Posters from the annual contest this month. To schedule a viewing, contact the school office at (860) 651-3341. 

The Simsbury Board of Selectmen will hold a regularly scheduled meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at town hall. On the agenda for tonight's meeting will be a board action on the town's Capital Improvement Plan which was recently revised by the Board of Finance.
