Why are you seeking office?

I am seeking to continue my service on the board because we help people.  We all know that costs are rising every day for everything, and it has been such a rare opportunity to work with folks and to find a way to potentially save them money.

What experience do you bring to the table?

Since 2012 I have been chair of the Simsbury Board of Assessment Appeals and attended training on how to judge the value of taxable property. Additionally over the last 8 years, I have worked with property owners and assessors to resolve tax or assessment issues on a regular basis in both Stratford and Torrington. It is my hope to continue to bring this experience to the Board of assessment Appeals and ultimately the residents of Simsbury.

What do you feel is the town's most pressing issue?

Maintaining our quality of life.

What do you love most about town?

The people.  We are blessed with great neighbors and everyone seems to have such a great sense of community pride.  My wife and I simply love it here.

What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy golf, spending time with my family, meeting new people, and trying new restaurants.
